Mergers and acquisitions advisor in the US Generational Equity has announced the acquisition of the assets of Packaging Solutions in Johnsonville, South Carolina, US by Sunbelt Packaging for an undisclosed value.
Generational Equity managing director Don Sawyer and vice president Julie Sandoval led the deal team that advised Packaging Solutions on the transaction.
Sunbelt Packaging, which supplies specialty threads to businesses in the textile industry, ventured into industrial packaging materials later on.
Packaging Solutions uses overseas partners to supply customers with flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC), woven polypropylene (PP) fabric and polyester (PET) strapping and stretch film.
