As we now spend more than 75% of our waking hours in our offices, more and more contract designers are looking to add warmer, more homey touches to office spaces. Often overlooked in this quest for a more comfortable working environment is shelving. Originally designed in 1948 by Danish designer Paul Cadovius, this clever system uses contemporary materials such as walnut, oak, compact laminate with steel, as well as thoughfully elegant touches such as brass fittings. The system is comprised of stringers, hangers, shelves, and cabinets, all custom designed to create an extraordinary storage and shelving system for any office or contract environment.
