The annual report from two of Europe's key associations, the Bicycle Industry and Market Profile (BIMP), is now available on the associations' websites.
This report—the fifth annual version compiling data for 2012—is a combined effort between the European Two-Wheeler Association (COLIPED) and the European Bicycle Industry (COLIBI).
The report offers an overview of Europe's production and industry employment. It also includes market sales data and economic activity in member countries. The 2012 report also offers more in-depth insight into five key markets: Germany, France, Great Britain, The Netherlands and Italy.?
COLIBI and COLIPED members account for 81 percent of EU bicycle production, 85 percent of all EU bicycle sales and 74 percent of the value of parts and accessory production.
