Kansas healthcare provider Stormont-Vail Healthcare has selected Hyland Software's OnBase solution to integrate into its ambulatory department which includes Epic EMR.
OnBase,an enterprise content management solution,is used by healthcare organizations to complete patient records,eliminate reimbursement delays and enhance business processes.
Stormont-Vail CIO Judy Corzine said using the Epic integration,employees will have secure access to all information in a patient's record.
"This information is available instantly from the familiar Epic interface,which will eliminate software adoption failures,"Corzine added.
"Stormont-Vail will also be leveraging OnBase for revenue cycle management solution to unite information in its clinical,financial and administrative departments.
"Hyland is also known for other strong integrations with other systems,which was reassuring and will help us find more value by expanding the solution to other departments."
