Business development company Trident Brands has entered into exclusive supply agreement with Continental Ingredients. As part of the deal, Continental will help Trident develop, manufacture and supply products for a period of five years.
Trident Brands president and CEO Michael Browne said the supply agreement represents an important milestone in company's entry into the rapidly growing nutritional products market segment.
"We are thrilled to be teaming up with Continental Ingredients on the development and manufacture of our unique and exclusive set of nutritional products that we will soon be launching under the globally recognized Everlast brand," Browne added.
Trident has a 15-year license from Everlast Worldwide to market and sell products in the nutritional foods and supplements category under the Everlast brand.
The licensing agreement will allow Trident to introduce a portfolio of nutritional products in categories such as supplements and functional foods, by using this brand mark.
