The communications watchdog has given carriers more hope that they can address 4G mobile broadband spectrum shortages sooner than expected.
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) said it would be possible for carriers to start using valuable spectrum bands freed by the digital TV switchover sooner than expected.
